SKRS is a registered South African Non-Profit Organisation.
It is independent.
It does no not get an annual budget from any other institution, but its board members have to find extra funding.
To be scientifically productive, one needs more than money: Motivation, endurance and fascination.
Here is how you can help:

Research is expensive. Our main costs are:
1. Fellowships to the best students.
2. Paying the managers.
3. Maintaining the station.
4. The vehicles.
5. Technical equipment.
6. Field supplies.
As we are a registered non-profit organisation, there aretax benefits for all local donations.
If you can support us, then please contact us via email.
